OUR HISTORY
We are part of an old ranch outpost that is part of the rural history of Tafí del Valle. Its original buildings—adobe ranches with thick walls and thatched roofs—were for generations the home of rural laborers and their families, witnesses to a way of life linked to working the land and respecting nature.
Twenty-five years ago, we decided to restore this place, honoring its identity and preserving its essence. Right here, we built our home, breathing new life into the stall and transforming it into a space where tradition and the present coexist in harmony.
Today we open our doors to those seeking more than just a tourist activity. We invite you to take a deep breath, pause and contemplate the valley from above, explore open landscapes on horseback, and savor the flavors of country cuisine prepared in a wood-fired oven. Each experience is designed to foster an authentic connection with nature, local culture, and the simple life, sharing our passion for this land and its history.

We are El Puesto, a space with history in Tafí del Valle where tradition, nature and country life meet.
From a restored old ranch house, we offer guided horseback riding through unique landscapes and country cooking experiences prepared in a wood-fired oven. We seek to share the essence of the valley through authentic, simple offerings designed to be enjoyed with all the senses.
Half-Day Horseback Riding – Natural Viewpoints
👉 We explore the hillside to panoramic viewpoints with spectacular views of the valley.
👉 The approximate duration is 2 hours 30 minutes, with departures in the morning or afternoon.
👉 We include a local guide and refreshments during the tour.
👉 It's an ideal experience for families and for those looking for a memorable outing without intense physical exertion.
Full Day Horseback Riding – High Altitude Barbecue
👉 We ascend to the plateaus, at about 2,450 meters high, with wide views of the valley and the mountain.
👉 We include a country lunch with traditional wood-fired oven barbecue and time to enjoy the natural surroundings.
👉 It is designed for those looking to experience a full day of adventure, nature and tasting.
Extended Crossing
👉 We took a long excursion through the high peaks and mountainous landscapes of Tucumán.
👉 We adapt the circuits to different levels of horse riding experience.
